A spec sheet only tells you so much.

Most brands want the base in hand before they order it. Texture, finish, and how a mineral formula wears across a range of skin tones are difficult to judge from documentation alone.

A sample puts the current production formula in front of your team, typically within a week of order. What you evaluate is what fills a private-label run, minus your branding.

If the base fits your standards, the inquiry process picks up from there. If it does not, you have spent twenty dollars rather than a production minimum.
